What's Your Vocal Range?

Measure your comfortable span and get a safe starting point for training.

How it works

1

A 3-2-1 countdown will tell you exactly when to start singing.

2

Start comfortably, then glide gently to your lowest comfortable note.

3

Tap Lock In when you find it, or stop singing. Then repeat for your highest comfortable note.

Requires microphone. Use a quiet room for best results.

If singing hurts, stop. Do not push into pain at the top or bottom of your range: strain is a stop signal, not a technique, and a smaller honest result beats a bigger forced one. Pain or hoarseness that lasts more than a day is a reason to see an ENT or a speech-language pathologist who specializes in voice, not to test again harder.
