Practice Songs

YouTube can't hear you

Video lessons teach technique but can't tell you if you're doing it right. Vocal School listens to every note you sing.

Karaoke apps don't teach

Pitch games score you but don't build skills systematically. Vocal School follows a real vocal pedagogy curriculum.

A coach hears you once a week

The other six days are where singing actually improves, or quietly does not. Vocal School prescribes what to practice on each of them, measures it, and every week shows you the comparison against the week before.

Everything you need to train your voice

Visual pitch feedback (beta)

See your pitch as you sing, a visual reference to compare what you produced versus what you intended. Pitch and timing are what we measure; breath support, tension, and larynx position are not. Treat it as a training aid, not a verdict.

A curriculum that adapts to you

407 exercises across 15 categories. White belt to black. The system tracks your practice, adjusts difficulty, and guides your progression.

Practice real songs, phrase by phrase

Pick a song from any genre. Learn it phrase by phrase with the tools to slow it down, loop a section, and compare your take.

This week against last week

Every seven days, a like-for-like comparison of what we measured: pitch against the target, onset timing, sustained breath. It reports a flat week as flat. That is the one thing a weekly lesson structurally cannot give you.

How Vocal School compares

What this does, and what it does not

Vocal training software makes big claims. Here is the honest boundary of ours.

What it does

Gives you a different 15 to 20 minute session every day, chosen from 407 exercises based on what your voice actually did yesterday. Measures your pitch and your timing while you sing, and shows you this week against last week so improvement is something you can see rather than something you hope for.

What it does not

It cannot hear tension, constriction, larynx position, or posture. A teacher in the room hears all four, and no microphone analysis substitutes for that. We are the six days between lessons, not a replacement for the lesson.

If singing hurts, stop and see a person. Pain, hoarseness, extra effort, loss of range, or repeated throat clearing that lasts more than a day is a reason to see an ENT or laryngologist, or a speech-language pathologist who specializes in voice. It is not a reason to practice harder. When you report strain in a session, the app closes the demanding work for a few days on its own, and tells you why.
